Home technology, thoughtfully integrated.
Apple Home automation, architectural audio, home video, and reliable Wi-Fi for Chicago residences. Planned around your space, installed with care, and explained clearly.
Focused upgrades, renovations, and new construction.
The controls, the sound, and the network behind them.
A single improvement or a coordinated installation. We define the scope around your rooms, existing equipment, and intended use.
Apple Home Automation
Compatible lighting, shades, locks, and sensors configured for everyday use through Apple Home. We confirm supported functions and any required apps, hubs, or bridges before equipment is approved.
- Scenes, schedules, and Siri control where supported
- Household access and everyday controls
- HomeKit-compatible products and supported Matter accessories
Architectural & Multi-Room Audio
In-ceiling speakers and distributed audio selected for the rooms and the way you listen. Compatible Sonos equipment and AirPlay playback can be included where appropriate.
- Speaker placement and amplification
- Room-by-room and shared playback
- Discreet wiring and equipment placement
Home Video & AV
Displays and sound systems selected around the space, with careful mounting, cable concealment, and clearly explained controls.
- Equipment recommendations
- TV and soundbar installation
- Playback, remotes, and equipment setup
Home Networks & Wi-Fi
Coverage assessments, network improvements, and new installations for the devices throughout your home. Network settings are managed through the equipment's own app or administration interface.
- Access-point placement and mesh where appropriate
- Wired backhaul and network connections
- Network configuration and handoff
Cabling & Pre-Wire
Plan the connections before finishes close in. Coordinate network and AV cabling with equipment locations and the wider project.
- Cable routes and connection locations
- Pre-wire and rough-in coordination
- Equipment access and installation timing
Connected Entry
Apple Home-compatible locks and entry accessories selected for the required functions, existing hardware, and household access needs.
- Compatibility and hardware checks
- Supported household access features
- Setup and an everyday-use walkthrough
Networking and audio/video projects can be scoped independently. Not every service requires an Apple Home setup.
Discuss the ScopePersonal devices & account setup
For residential clients, we can also scope hands-on assistance organizing personal Apple devices, Apple Family Sharing, iCloud and photo library synchronization, custom domain email, and new hardware transitions.
Like our residential installations, this work is scoped as a defined project with a clear walkthrough — not an ongoing helpdesk.
Focused on Apple households.
We specialize in homes where iPhone and other Apple devices are already part of daily life. Keeping our automation work focused on Apple Home lets us concentrate on compatible products, consistent setup, and a clear handoff.
That does not mean every system lives in one app. Compatible smart-home accessories use Apple Home; audio, video, and network equipment may use their own apps and controls. We explain those differences before you approve the scope.
Monitored burglar alarms and solar installations are outside our scope.
Can I control everything in Apple Home?
No. Apple Home controls supported functions of compatible accessories. Audio playback, equipment setup, and advanced settings may use other apps or controls. Changing your Wi-Fi name or password, for example, is done through your network equipment's app or administration interface.
Do you install other automation platforms?
Our automation installation and configuration services focus on Apple Home. We do not offer Alexa, Google Home, Crestron, or Lutron system installation or programming. Networking and audio/video work may still be scoped independently.
Does everyone need an iPhone?
It depends on the system and the functions each person needs. We discuss household devices, guest access, and suitable physical controls during planning. We do not assume everyone will operate the home from a phone.
Clear scope. Considered installation. A practical handoff.
01 — Understand the Home
We review your rooms, existing equipment, architectural plans, and how your household uses each space.
02 — Define the System
You receive a written scope detailing compatible products, app responsibilities, trade coordination needs, and clear pricing.
03 — Coordinate & Install
We complete the agreed installation and coordinate with your builder, designer, or other trades where the project requires it.
04 — Walk Through Everyday Use
We walk through the agreed functions, explain the controls, and provide the handoff information included in your scope.
Bring technology into the plan early.
Speaker locations, controls, access points, and equipment storage affect the finished space. Include B&A while layouts, cable routes, and trade responsibilities can still be coordinated.
Our automation scope focuses on Apple Home. Networking, cabling, and audio/video can be discussed as independent scopes.
- Speaker, display, control, and access-point locations in relation to the room layout.
- Network and AV cable routes, connection points, and rough-in timing.
- Equipment locations, access, and ventilation requirements.
- Responsibilities and handoffs between B&A, the general contractor, and relevant trades.
Coordination activities, site visits, and project documentation are agreed in the written scope.
Clear expectations after installation.
Optional 30-Day Follow-Up
An optional 30-day follow-up window is available for questions about everyday use and additional guidance as your household gets familiar with the installed system. Availability, the start date, included assistance, and any fee are confirmed in your proposal.
Changes & Additions
New equipment, additional rooms, new automations, and changes beyond the agreed scope are assessed separately. We confirm the work and any additional cost before proceeding.
Installation Concerns
If something we installed or configured does not appear to work as agreed, contact us so we can review it against the original scope. You do not need to purchase the optional follow-up service to report an installation concern. We assess the cause and explain the appropriate next steps, including any proposed charge, before further work proceeds.
The optional 30-day follow-up window is not a deadline for reporting installation concerns. Applicable warranty and service terms are set out in your project agreement.
